Dhruv Mishra
New York based Industrial Designer
Hi there!
I am Dhruv Mishra, and I've recently graduated from Pratt’s Master of Industrial Design program (2019-2022) where I was awarded the Phillys and Conrad Milster scholarship. At Pratt my work focused on designing for disabilities and inclusion through medical devices to digital solutions.
Prior to Pratt, I graduated in from Sushant school of Design with a Bachelors in Product Design (2014-2018). Post that, worked as a designer at Studio Gudgudee in India, under 2 of 2019’s Forbes 30 under 30 members, where I got the opportunity to design inclusive playground equipment and work on India's first guide on creating accessible parks and play spaces for the National Institute of Urban Affairs.
Through my design knowledge spanning across India, Singapore, the UK and USA, my work and contributions are driven by a multicultural perspective rooted in ideologies of accessibility and inclusion for all. I believe that when the potential of technology and understanding of human emotions is combined with creativity and research, the discoveries can be exciting and beneficial to society.
